Evaluating
The Presidency Of Bill Clinton
[ send
me this paper ]
5 pages in length. Evaluating the presidency of Bill Clinton
is fraught with stumbling blocks – both personal and
professional – that effectively stand in the way of
performing an unbiased assessment. Indeed, Clinton has found
himself in a handful of compromising positions that have
caused not only his reputation but also his leadership
ability to come under harsh scrutiny. How has the president
succeeded in the eyes of the people? What has come to
influence this perception, and is this perception accurate?
The writer discusses that the two most prevalent components
of Clinton's presidency have been two events that do not
shed positive light on his evaluation: Monica Lewinsky and
Whitewater and how they relate to trust. Bibliography lists
7 sources.

The
State Of The Election Campaign Investigations
[ send
me this paper ]
An 8 page research paper arguing that the campaign election
contributions reform is indeed needed. The Clinton
administration attempted to turn the Lincoln bedroom into a
Days Inn for the highest bidder in the 1996 campaign, but
there have been other presidential sleepovers, too. Several
unsuccessful bills have attempted to distinguish between
'hard' and 'soft' money, with the soft variety being used
for the recognized necessity of buying national media
exposure. The focus of the 1997 reform is that very
distinction, but is muddied by the prospects of a Justice
Department investigation into White House fund raising
activities. Bibliography lists 7 sources.

Motor
Voter Registration
[ send
me this paper ]
This 5 page report discusses the National Voter Registration
Act, most commonly known as the “Motor Voter” and was
designed to encourage voter registration and remove a number
of discriminatory and unfair obstacles to voter
registration. Signed into law in 1993, the Act was put into
effect on January 1, 1995. Several states fought
implementation of the law calling it an “un-funded
mandate” that led to a greater potential for election
fraud. Since the law’s implementation, significant
successful results have been proven. Bibliography lists 4
sources.

F. Kennedy: The Rhetoric of the Times
[ send
me this paper ]
A 7 page overview of the Kennedy administration and the
rhetoric employed by it. Emphasizes the lofty goals of
Kennedy's inaugural address and contrasts his actual
accomplishments with those goals. Concludes that while
Kennedy proclaimed 'Ask not what your country can do for you
but what you can do for your country', what we should ask is
what did Kennedy actually do for his country and how does
this differ from our cultural memory of him. Bibliography
lists 6 sources.
